Finch’s Medical and Healthcare specialist, Emma Thornton, joined representatives from over 60 healthcare and life science companies for the Department for International Trade’s (DIT’s) Northern Powerhouse: Mission to Arab Health 2019 arranged by.
Arab Heath, one of the largest healthcare exhibitions in the world, saw delegates meeting and networking with individuals and companies from across the globe, and in doing so helping to boost the healthcare and life science economy in the North of England, creating jobs and opportunities and securing millions of pounds of international trade.
Life Sciences Regional Sector Specialist at the DIT and International Manager at Medilink North of England, Tom Elliot said: “We were once again thrilled to deliver this mission on behalf of the DIT. It was an incredible opportunity for companies from the North of England to meet global companies, discuss trade opportunities and boost the North of England’s economy.”
Emma commented, ‘I attended Arab Health for the first time this year, and I was made to feel very welcome by my Medilink hosts. The exhibition was a fantastic opportunity to develop new relationships and I hope to return next year.’
The exhibition, held at the Dubai World Trade Centre saw over 4,000 exhibiting companies, 84,500 healthcare and trade professionals and over 160 countries represented.
