Phil Kelly – Account Executive
Always seeking to introduce talented and ambitious graduates to the team, Finch recruited Phil as an Apprentice in November 2009, after he graduated with a BA(Hons) Degree in Business Management.
7 years after joining Finch, Phil has progressed to the role of International Commercial Business Unit Executive, travelling to places such as San Diego, Paris and Copenhagen to develop relationships and secure new business from the Worldwide Broker Network (WBN) events. Phil has achieved his Certificate in Insurance, and is working towards his Diploma. Phil is flourishing under the guidance of his Director mentor, and attends regular training courses to enhance his technical knowledge.
Phil enjoys the variety of work at Finch, and learning something new every day – particularly problem solving. He is based in Halifax and values working in a close knit team, as well as being recognized for the contribution he makes.

Sarah Lane – Employee Benefits Team Leader
Sarah joined Finch as an Employee Benefits Administrator, attracted to the company as it offered great opportunities for career progression and recognition.
Finch recognised Sarah’s great potential, and she become a Team Leader 2 years later, now managing a team of 6. To ensure that Sarah had the right skills to be become a successful Team Leader, she attended a 6 days Middle Management training workshop. Sarah has also been recognised with our ‘Above and Beyond’ recognition award for how she dealt with a particularly challenging claim.
Sarah loves the day to day contact she has with her clients, and enjoys passing on her experience and knowledge to the rest of the team.
